I recently visited the page of a fellow deviant here that I am a fan of. He very recently posted a photo of something that really seems to stir the pot of certain folks on DA. He had the audacity to post a full color photo of a woman's vagina. That seems to be quite a hot topic for some. For every photo of a lady's "girl biscuit" yes I know, my own little term for the vagina. I like it and so does my lady so that's what I will call it. For every photo of the "girl biscuit" that finds it way here there also seems to be the random drive by critic yelling, "PORN, PORN, PORN!"..... sometimes maybe only one or two but oftentimes an avalanche of this mostly mean spirited verbiage is hurled at the hapless goob. Why? I don't get it. These photos may not be van goghs, but most are also not Jenna Jamison going reverse cowgirl on some over endowed meat wagon. Why does female genitalia automatically equal porn. Below was my response to some of his critics. I am interested in what you other DA'ers think.

I can't define art but I know it when I see it. To each his own I have always said. My ego is not so large that I deem myself expert enough to romp through the digital garden that is deviantart.com and drop my opinions onto total strangers work like some shit stained goose egg. What is art to some may be just so much splash colored crap to others. If I like someones work I let them know. If not, I keep my unsolicited thoughts to myself. If asked, then I give my opinion good or bad. I have seen your blog. Your work is crisp and fits mostly into a certain genre which may or may not be considered art, it all depends on the eyes looking at it. If it makes you happy doing it and no one is getting hurt in the process, then I say "fuck all" to critics and stone throwers, and just keep shooting.
